Casa Rocio has two impeccably presented apartments forming part of this alpine-style house. Situated at less than five minutes from Potes in the borough of Liebana, visitors can enjoy the considerable range of bars and restaurants, where you can find the local specialty which is the cocido lebaniego (a stew featuring chickpeas) and make excursions into the beautiful surrounding mountain villages of Liebana or to the impossing eastern massif of the Picos de Europa. Potes has many buildings and monuments with centuries of history, such as the Orejon de Lima towel (15th century). This village has very narrow streets and many bridges which makes it together with its green surrunding one of the most atractive villages of the region. All the villages of this region of Liebana are specially charming in rural locations with a dreamlike scenery, specially Fuente De, just 25 km away from Casa Rocio, is situated in a priviledge setting with many historical buildings and where a cable car take you almost vertically up the face of the central massif of the Picos de Europa.

Details of Accommodation

Entrance is from the large terrace with swimming pool and covered barbecue area. The front door takes you into a hall with kitchen/living area on the right. This is a large, light room with lovely views of pool and mountains. The washing machine, large fridge/freezer, electric oven, vitro ceramic hob and microwave are all conveniently located with built-in cupboards. A TV, table with seating for 6 and small sofa suite complete the appointments. Along the hall, bedroom 1 has two single beds, fitted cupboards and bedside table; bedroom 2 has two single beds and bedside table; and bedroom 3 a double bed and fitted cupboards. All bedrooms are finished with polished hardwood floors and have lovely open views. The bathroom/WC is very well presented with pretty tilework, bidet, toilet, good size bath with shower over and hand-basin. There is a second apartment with the same accommodation which can also be rented by Spanish Affair clients. The lovely owners of Casa Rocio lives on the side and will give you lots of information of the area.
 

Outside is a 11m x 6m swimming pool shared with the other apartment. Alongside the pool is a lovely covered pool house with well-tended flowers, comfortable seating area with sofas, dining table, TV, a cooker, a barbecue and food preparation area with a sink – a great place for relaxing.
