Asturias is one of the most unspoilt areas in Spain, full of lush countryside, a wonderful coastline and spectacular mountain scenery. Great places to visit during your stay in your villa in Asturias include the Paleolithic caves of Candamo, El Buxu, El Pindal or Tito Bustillo where you will find cave paintings of horses, stags, chamois and humans. Oviedo must be seen: the Cathedral with its exquisite interior, the Old Quarter with its traditional shops, wine bars and antiques, and Calle de Cimadevilla (the main shopping street) are all easy distance from the main square and its array of tapas bars. The “bear trail” is a favourite family outing and starts at Proaza village; at mid-day the bears head down to eat fruit salad! Our Asturias villas are within easy distance of lovely beaches like Toro, Sablon and Torimbia.
